Carnation Café on Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland is always a good idea for dining in the park whether you go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. These are my favs for lunch (or dinner too)!
To start, Fried Pickles with dipping sauce. MUST!!!! The are fried to golden brown Dill pickle spears dipped in parmesan and panko, and served with a house sauce. The dip is reminescent of ranch dressing with extra dill and some paprika. Love it!
For my main dish, I can’t pass up Baked Potato Soup. The soup is topped with bacon, cheddar, monterey jack, sour cream, and chives. It is also served with a roll. So cheesy and creamy! You will not be sorry you indulged on this bowl of soup!
Since I tend to enjoy Disney treats throughout the day, I don’t typically order more than this in order to save room for dessert or a Mickey pretzel.
When I am with my husband, we have shared the Sourdough Bacon Cheese Melt. We really like it! Angus chuck patty, pepper jack cheese, grilled onions, bacon, and spicy house sauce on grilled sourdough served with your choice of fresh fruit or seasoned French fries. You can’t go wrong with this dish!
If you or someone in your party are celebrating a birthday, let your server know and they will bring out a special little surprise treat.
I recommend making a reservation online in advance, up to 60 days prior to your visit, to secure your spot. Reservations can be made by phone or on Disneyland’s website or app, click here. On busier days, such as the weekends or Holidays, Carnation Café does not take walk-ins.
Annual Passholder Discounts apply.
