I have two favorite times of the year to be at Disneyland, Halloween and Christmas. The park is so magical during both Holiday seasons! My family and I have been going to Mickey’s Halloween Party annually for the past couple of years. We always come home with pounds and pounds of candy from trick-or-treating around the park. I had the pleasure of spending the day at Disneyland on the actual 60th birthday of the Disney Park along with Jenny of Picky Palate. If you don’t know, Jenny has a feature on her blog about Disney Dining and a Instagram account called @disneyhungry, which are all about the fabulous eats and treats Disney has to offer. So last week when she reached out to me and asked if I wanted to meet her in Disneyland for a day of eating, shopping and going on rides I could not say no.
Typically when we go to Disneyland, I have my whole family with me, which I love (in case they are reading this), but it was neat to have a girls trip with just Jenny and myself. Since I often go with my husband and boys, you can imagine a day of mainly exploring food over rides at the park would not have been their ideal Disney experience, but I sure loved it!
