I have two favorite times of the year to be at Disneyland, Halloween and Christmas. The park is so magical during both Holiday seasons! My family and I have been going to Mickey’s Halloween Party annually for the past couple of years. We always come home with pounds and pounds of candy from trick-or-treating around the park. The kids love to wear their costumes and see so many creative costumes, including the characters all decked out for Halloween.
The tickets to Mickey’s Halloween Party are separate from the regular park passes or annual passes. Luckily, since we have annual passes we are able to take advantage of purchasing our tickets in advance, but I recommend if you are thinking of going, do not hesitate. They sell out quick! Parking is offered with your ticket purchase and you are able to enter the park early, prior to the party start time. Mickey’s Halloween Party is so fun, Halloween music is playing throughout the park, lights everywhere and so many trick-or-treat spots, plus a Halloween themed parade and firework show. The best part is you walk on all of the rides with hardly a wait. It is a great time for kids and adults alike, which is why we come back each year.
Another part I love about the Holidays at Disneyland are the Halloween-themed treats. My favorite spot for sweet treats is Pooh Corner in Critter Country. As soon as we step off of the Winnie the Pooh ride we automatically walk into the candy kitchen. They offer cake pops, cookies, fudge, caramel apples, rice krispie treats, cupcakes, and so much more. During the Holiday season many of the treats are transformed to match the season, such as pumpkins, witches, and mummys for Halloween. It is hard to not swoop them all up!
If you have a chance to visit a Disney theme park during Halloween Time, go and grab yourself up lots of treats.
