Tortilla Jo’s Dia de Los Muertos Celebration

I was invited to Tortilla Jo’s in Downtown Disney to take part in their special Dia de Los Muetros celebration, happening October 27th thru November 2nd.

Since I had a visit planned to Disneyland on Sunday with my family, I opted to take them up on their invite and attend the Pre-Celebration Kids Event.

Dia De Los Muertos Celebration

We sat outside on the patio close to the Kids Event so my youngest son could play while we were close by. The Dia de Los Muertos Pre-celebration had different stations set-up for kids with complimentary Face Painting, Cookie Decorating, Pumpkin Painting, and Arts & Crafts.

Marceline’s Confectionery at Halloween Time

In case you didn’t know, you can find most of the handcrafted goodies from Disneyland and Disney California Adventure at Marceline’s Confectionery in Downtown Disney® District, without the cost of a park ticket. I like being able to stop in there and take the treats to go before heading home and avoid having them smashed in my backpack from hopping ride to ride.

World of Disney at Halloween Time

World of Disney in Downtown Disney can definitely be deemed Halloween headquarters as far as merchandise goes. Perfect whether you are heading to Mickey’s Halloween Party and need to grab a quick costume, accessory or souvenir, visiting Downtown Disney for the day, or staying at a hotel nearby and want to grab souvenirs outside of the park.

I love Halloween and especially Halloween decor from Disneyland, so I stopped in at World of Disney recently to see what I couldn’t live without. They had so much cute Halloween decor, all of which I saw inside the park as well. Just for you, I’m doing a Halloween photo dump so you can see some of what World of Disney has to offer for your Disney Halloween needs.

Halloween Mickey Balloons on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland

I have two favorite times of the year to be at Disneyland, Halloween and Christmas.  The park is so magical during both Holiday seasons!  My family and I have been going to Mickey’s Halloween Party annually for the past couple of years.  We always come home with pounds and pounds of candy from trick-or-treating around the park.  The kids love to wear their costumes and see so many creative costumes, including the characters all decked out for Halloween.
