Holidays Eats at Trolley Treats

Trolley Treats at Disney California Adventure Park is a sweet shop (pun intended) on Buena Vista Street. Trolley Treats carries all kinds of freshly made treats from cake pops, caramel apples, toffee, fudge, cookies, to seasonal favorites. Most of the treats at Trolley Treats can be found at Candy Palace and Pooh Corner at Disneyland, and Marceline’s Confectionery in Downtown Disney District. I can’t stop myself from popping in every visit to the park.

On our recent Disney date, before heading to the Festival of Holidays, which you can see HERE, I stopped by Trolley Treats to check out the holiday sweets. Before heading inside, there was a cast member outside of the shop displaying some of the holiday treats. Continue reading

At the Festival, you get to take part in delicious food and drink, live entertainment, and crafts.

Marceline’s Confectionery at Halloween Time

In case you didn’t know, you can find most of the handcrafted goodies from Disneyland and Disney California Adventure at Marceline’s Confectionery in Downtown Disney® District, without the cost of a park ticket. I like being able to stop in there and take the treats to go before heading home and avoid having them smashed in my backpack from hopping ride to ride.

When you step inside Marceline’s Confectionery you feel like you have stepped inside an old-fashioned candy shop, which was named after the small Missouri town where Walt lived as a boy.

World of Disney at Halloween Time

World of Disney in Downtown Disney can definitely be deemed Halloween headquarters as far as merchandise goes. Perfect whether you are heading to Mickey’s Halloween Party and need to grab a quick costume, accessory or souvenir, visiting Downtown Disney for the day, or staying at a hotel nearby and want to grab souvenirs outside of the park.

I love Halloween and especially Halloween decor from Disneyland, so I stopped in at World of Disney recently to see what I couldn’t live without. They had so much cute Halloween decor, all of which I saw inside the park as well. But I like grabbing items at World of Disney when it means I don’t have to walk around the park holding them all day. Not to mention I can get lost in that store for endless amounts of time.

Just for you, I’m doing a Halloween photo dump so you can see some of what World of Disney has to offer for your Disney Halloween needs.

Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Express

One of our favorite treats at Disneyland are Mickey Beignets from Mint Julep Bar, but if you are in Downtown Disney® District  did you know you can get Original New Orleans Beignets (Ben-Yays!) from Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen and Jazz Kitchen Express. Dare I say they beat Mickey Beignets?! Okay, I said it! But I’ll never quit Mickey Beignets.

Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney

RB’s Jazz Kitchen offers New Orleans cuisine such as Jambalaya, Catfish, Gumbo, etc. They also have a lot of options for kids- pasta, chicken strips, cheeseburgers and more. Every Sunday they have brunch from 10 am to 3 pm with a live Jazz band playing. The biggest draw for me are the beignets. If you aren’t familiar, beignets are a New Orleans classic! They are French donuts deep fried and topped with powdered sugar. Continue reading
